QUESTION: I adore your OCs, particularly Lothrin, and I wonder what her family is like? Who were her parents, and does she have any children or siblings? I hope you don't mind me asking!

Her father, Faelon was half avari, half nandor, descended from an avari mother from Taur Romen and a nandor father from Lindorinand. He was a trader and exchanged Lindorinand’s resources (wine, rope, elven cloth, harvests) with the dwarves of Khazad-dum. Even if he wasn’t extremely happy about it, he accepted the sindar and noldor occupation.

Her mother, Ireth, was herself half teleri and half nandor, with again a nandor father and a teleri mother. (Her parents’ marriage didn’t work out and Ireth’s mother moved permanently to Lindon with Ireth’s sister, while her father, Thinor remained with her in Lindorinand as an advisor to kings Amdir and Amroth). She was a musician by trade and absolutely loathed the sindar and noldor occupation. So much that in fact she refused to speak anything but nandorin. She never saw Galadriel as their true ruler, but rather an imposed one.

Lothrin has two siblings: Aliar, her younger brother and Lainor the elder one. All three of them were trained as guards. Lainor achieved great military success throughout his career but died during the War of the Last Alliance right in front of his two siblings. While Lothrin left Lindorinand (already Lorinand, then Lothlorien by the beginning of the Third Age), Aliar remained with their parents and kept his position as a guard.

As for Lothrin… no, she doesn’t have any children, nor do I think she ever will. (I simply can’t think of a character worthy of pursuing a romance subplot with, nor do I think she is interested in romance at all).
