BIOGRAPHY
Dûion, the direct descendant of the first elves awoken at Cuivienen, or by his true avarin name, Dōmēyondō, is an avar hailing from the Orocarni mountains. Born sometime in the Years of the Trees, Dûion is part of the group of elves who never left lake Cuivienen and are now guarding ferociously its location. Highly distrustful of outsiders, even those of their own race, the avari of Kuiwênêni (Cuivienen) have guarded the secret of the Waters of Awakening for ages unending.
Though Dûion was never an active participant in the Wars of the World, he has always been interested in tidings of the earth. His heart called to wandering and starlight gazing, so there would be no other profession fit for him but to be a messenger. Acting as a guide to travelers and as a messenger between the various lords and ladies of the dark elves, the hisildan travels far and wide the lands east of Middle Earth.
Like much of his kin, he highly dislikes the calaquendi, the noldor especially and will not travel close to any of their settelments. Dûion has lived for years beyond count and by the end of the Third Age, he had long entered the third cycle of elven life. He now sports a small beard.
His heart belongs to one, Naeriel, maiden of Nan Elmoth and their love though slow has taught him the gifts of trust and patience. He courted her for years without end and yet though their love is true, Naeriel leaves for the Undying Lands in the Fourth Age, and Dûion chooses to remain in the ancenstral lands of his kindred in the far east. Far into the future ages of the world, Dûion fades but refuses to answer the call to Mandos. In the end he is forcefully summoned to the Halls, bur refuses to be reembodied. His spirit forever dwells in the Halls of Mandos, never to leave and live in the bliss of Valinor.
